They were just normal. So what do you think about the results of the study? I absolutely loved my experience and couldn't disagree more with the study's findings. All the girls I worked with, myself included, worked there because it was fun.

I never felt degraded; quite the opposite actually. I felt empowered while working there. I was able to take control of my sexuality and my body and use it to be seen how I wanted it to be seen. I feel much more degraded on the street where men gawk at women wearing normal street clothes and make you feel like you're on display for them. You have no control in those situations.

When I put on my uniform, I was able to take control of that image and own my own sexuality. Overall, I loved my experience at Hooters. It taught me to own my own sexuality, allowed me to break out of my shell, and introduced me to some of the smartest, most amazing women that I am proud to call friends even after I left the job. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
